The Social Media Manager at Jetty is a creative and dynamic leader who spearheads our digital marketing efforts on all social platforms. This role is crucial in driving brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth for our surf and outdoor lifestyle brand. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, with a proven track record in assisting with the successful execution of marketing campaigns as well as daily content posting across multiple Jetty brand handles. A secondary, but equally important responsibility of the Social Media Manager is to act as the gatekeeper of all incoming content, keeping it organized and ready for deployment with regard to naming conventions, Google Drive, photography/video credits, etc.
Position Details:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing and social media strategies. This role requires creativity, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure our brand’s message is consistently communicated across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
•Digital Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute digital campaigns and partnerships that align with brand initiatives and product launches across all social media platforms including, but limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more.
•Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling, on-brand content for social media.
•Social Media Management: Grow and manage social media channels by scheduling and publishing content, engaging with followers, responding to messages, and monitoring comments and mentions.
•Social-Commerce Transition: Identify and highlight products for social-commerce
platforms like TikTok Shop, Instagram, and Facebook Shop.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on key performance metrics to measure the
effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent
brand messaging and alignment across all digital marketing channels.
•Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies,
providing insights on new digital marketing strategies and tools.
•Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth
opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
•Content Management: Manage and organize content received from photoshoots,
influencers, ambassadors, etc. for use across the company.
•Influencer Engagement: Identify and engage with influencers, brand ambassadors, and
team athletes to amplify brand reach and visibility.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
•At least 3 years of experience in digital and social media marketing within surf, outdoor, and/or active lifestyle industry.
•Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, content
marketing, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and analytics tools.
•Proven experience in managing and optimizing digital campaigns.
•Proficiency in using marketing automation and CRM tools.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or similar design
software.
•Excellent analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data.
•Exceptional creativity and storytelling ability that resonates with the target audience.
•Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively with cross-functional teams.
•Passion for Surfing and the outdoors, and a deep understanding of the surf and outdoor active lifestyle/industry
•Organized with attention to detail.
