Reports To: Print Production Manager

Location: Oakland, CA 


The Print Production Specialist is an essential part of the Jetty marketing team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Print Production Specialist will play a vital role in packaging design, print production, and label quality control. They will also maintain digital assets ensuring our retail partners have all the product information and imagery they need. The Print Production Specialist should have strong communication and project management skills, taking ownership of the varying needs of the print room to ensure consistent, compliant execution of packaging and print materials. They should have a working knowledge of design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. And most importantly, a positive, can-do attitude. 


Responsibilities

  • Manage label creation and in-house printing, leading print end-to-end execution. 
  • Own quality control for print production, including verifying label accuracy and print quality. 
  • Review packaging to ensure compliance with state regulations, acting as the final sign-off on all packaging for 4 markets: California, Colorado, New Jersey, and New York.
  • Act as print and design lead when the Production Manager is not on-site. 
  • Responsible for creating and organizing all digital menu assets including product photos and descriptions on our Partner Portal and KSS brand folder.
  • Track shipments and communicate with cross-functional teams on the status of various projects. 
  • Additional admin tasks as assigned.

  • You are organized and self-motivated. There will be busy times and slow times, to be successful you will need to plan ahead and maximize your time. Tracking and communicating project status will be essential to your success. 
  • You are a great communicator. You know how to flag challenges ahead of time to ensure all packaging is landed when it needs to be. 
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite. 
  • Cannabis experience is preferred, but not required. 


Who you’ll work with:

  • Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will work with compliance teams across three states (CA, CO, NJ, and NY) to ensure the accuracy of packaging for multiple markets. 
  • This role will work collaboratively across a variety of functions: Sales Leadership, Fulfillment Manager, Production, Brand Marketing, and Brand Ambassadors to ensure the deployment of marketing assets across multiple states.
