Position: New York & New Jersey Brand Manager

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Location: New York or New Jersey (Tristate Area)

The Brand Manager will be the primary facilitator for all customer-facing programs for the Jetty brand and its brand partners. They will lead product launches for Jetty and its partners, support account management including onboarding, support plans, and staff education, and lead consumer and market insights for the territory. They will oversee marketing compliance, ensuring packaging and all marketing tactics are compliant with current regulations. The Brand Manager will be adept at, and ultimately responsible for, coordinating multiple internal Jetty departments and external partners to develop tactical plans that ensure the brand achieves its ambitious sales goals.

  • Act as brand champion with all internal and external stakeholders, including the founder/owner of the brand, each Jetty operational department, Jetty’s 3rd-party distributor, retail customers, and consumers.
  • Assist in the development of product and campaign messaging, strategy, and tactics by analyzing consumer trends and market opportunities, leveraging cannabis market data sources and customer insights.
  • Maintain and update compliance documentation for relevant markets.
  • Coordinate with Jetty operations and sales teams to ensure timely execution of marketing assets to support product launches. 
  • Own budtender educational content for Jetty’s East Coast markets, including New York and New Jersey.
  • Directly manage relationships with major accounts and lead retail marketing campaigns that support the brand.
  • Manage brand partnerships in the markets, including product collaborations, paid co-marketing, etc. 
  • Be the content development lead for the East Coast markets partnering with HQ content team to support and amplify brand activities and retail partnerships. 
  • Develop, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly reports to the Jetty leadership team on brand health, goals, and performance.
  • Manage timelines for asset development, including retail collateral, educational content, packaging, and marketing campaigns.


  • At least 5 years of experience in brand management, product management, or marketing; consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience preferred; cannabis industry experience a plus
  • Ability to synthesize consumer and business insights into clear recommendations. 
  • Ability to understand and apply state-specific regulations, impacting packaging, marketing materials, and marketing tactics.
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills; strong attention to detail is a must. 
  • Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled and active leader, relationship-builder, and team player; track record of successful cross-functional experience and capable of working professionally across all company departments, with external partners, and with all levels of staff to solve problems and drive organizational success.
