Description
JDB Industries is seeking a Vice President of Business Development and Operations to help expand our ever-growing customer base and qualified business pipeline. This position will be a part of JDB Industries leadership team. The position is responsible for helping to grow the business, maximize efficiencies, while developing and maintaining customer partnerships.
Requirements
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
This position requires application of extensive knowledge and proven successful performance of business development activities and initiatives relating to the sale of professional services in the commercial, DoD and other Federal Agency sectors, including identification, pursuit, development, expansion, and capture of new business opportunities across the company.
Develops and maintains the company pipeline giving insight as to the status of all qualified and unqualified opportunities and proposal activities for the Company.
Possess thorough knowledge of the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including performance-based contracting, acquisition streamlining, manning, best practices and lessons learned.
Maintain, cultivate, and develop business relationships with current and potential clients, to add value to or enhance team formation. Must be very familiar with the contractor communities within designated area of operations.
Perform frequent contacts, visits, meeting attendance, etc. with government program offices, supporting government offices, other contractors, and business partners – preparing and providing professional presentations as applicable.
Responsible for ensuring the effective operation and structuring of new business capture processes within the company.

Strong written and verbal communication
Required Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, business, or a related subject.
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
