Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Integrating, upgrading, and managing virtual computer systems

•Administer, manage, and provision VMWare ESXi virtualized servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 operating system

•Some experience administrating Databases, specifically Mongo and Postgres

•NetApp (NAS) administration – including volume management and clustering

•Storage Area Network (SAN) administration – including storage management

•Administration of computer systems, including system startup and shutdown; security and application patch installation; security scanning; user account, profile, and permission management; system backup and restoration; system service and log management; system auditing; problem report management; performance management; and other IT administration-related services.

•Provide data transfers between classified and unclassified networks, according to prescribed policy and procedures

Required Qualifications & Skills:

•An active and in-scope Top Secret Clearance w/ CI Poly U.S. security clearance.

•System admin of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

•VMware - vSphere and vCenter Administration

•Shell/Perl/Python scripting

•File system appliance management (NetApp filers etc.)

•LDAP Administration

•Broad understanding of TCP/IP and transfer protocols, such as ftp, sftp, ftps and https

•Essential Linux network service configuration

•Email

•NFS

•Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience

•Ability to produce detailed technical documentation

•Capable of working on a team under pressure, to meet schedule requirements

•Valid Security+ certification, or equivalent

Additional Desired Qualifications & Skills:

•Mongo database administration

◦Java script for mongo

•Mongo database configuration and performance optimization

•Ability to analyze queries and collections for optimization

•Postgres database administration

◦Ability to write and execute sql statements

•Database configuration and performance optimization

•Ability to analyze queries and table for optimization

•Excellent communication and organizational skills

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science in a Computer or Systems Engineering related major, plus typically five years of relevant experience, OR 13 years' of equivalent military/civilian experience.

Security Clearance:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
