Description

JDB industries is seeking a Senior Multi-Discipline Engineer with experience facilitating a successful implementation, use, and sustainment of an engineered system. This Multi-Discipline position will be a technical lead position that will be responsible for leading system integration activities such as upgrades, patches, implementing new requirements while maintaining proper agency security accreditation. This lead position will work closely with the program Chief Engineer and the Chief Architect, using an integrative approach when implementing new system capabilities. This position supports the GEOINT Data Transformation Service (GDTS) contract, in Springfield, VA. 

Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

•Lead and facilitate integration efforts to include upgrading and managing virtual computer systems

•Generate and evaluate alternative solution concepts and architectures

•Produce ICRs, configuration documentation, and customer presentations

•Manage VMWare ESXi virtualized platform running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 operating system

•Manage NetApp (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN)

•Produce and brief technical solution presentations for customer briefings

•Maintain compliance of Enterprise tools including HBSS, Carbon Black, ArcSight, and ACAS

•Collaborate with ISSE to ensure system accreditation is sustained

Required Qualifications & Skills:

•An active and in-scope Top Secret Clearance w/ CI Poly security clearance U.S. security clearance

•Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7 preferred

•VMware - vSphere and vCenter

•Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience

•Ability to produce detailed technical documentation

•Comprehensive understanding of network principles and protocols

•Broad understanding of TCP/IP and transfer protocols, such as ftp, sftp, ftps and https

•Extensive understanding of security and cyber appliances and protocols

•Capable of working on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements

•Security certification (i.e., Security+, CISSP) or equivalent

•Experience with NGA programs and customers

Additional Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Understanding of Postgres and Mongo database principles and concepts

•Experience with cross-domain solutions, specifically High-Speed Guards (HSGs)

•Familiarity with shell scripting and perl scripting

•Knowledge of application protocol LDAP

•Excellent communication and organizational skills

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science degree with a Computer or Systems Engineering related major, typically eight years of relevant experience, OR 16 years of equivalent military/civilian experience

Security Clearance:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
