Jay's Coffee & Cuisine is seeking an experienced and passionate Cafe Manager to oversee the coffee bar and front of house operations of our full-service coffee shop.


The Cafe Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive a high-quality, efficient, and enjoyable experience while visiting our coffee shop.


  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction at all times
  • Managing the day-to-day coffee bar and front-of-house operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer service by greeting and serving customers, handling complaints and concerns, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe
  • Overseeing the preparation and presentation of all coffee and other beverage offerings
  • Monitoring quality control and ensuring all products are prepared to the highest standards
  • Creating and implementing beverage programs and menus that are on-trend and innovative while also meeting the customers' needs
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient coffee bar and front-of-house area
  • Managing inventory, ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring sufficient stock levels of all necessary items
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
  • Coordinating with the Head Chef to ensure seamless collaboration between the front-of-house and kitchen staff
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Managing the point of sale system and cash handling procedures
  • Monitoring sales, costs, and expenses to maximize profits and meet financial goals
  • Maintaining knowledge of coffee and beverage trends and adjusting offerings accordingly
  • Continuously improving the customer experience through regular feedback, innovation, and education


  • At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a coffee shop or similar hospitality environment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve targets and maintain high standards
  • Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso-based drinks, as well as tea and other beverage preparation techniques and equipment
  • Knowledge of coffee equipment, brewing techniques, and industry trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for coffee and providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming and friendly environment
