The Business Development and Sales Manager (BDM) is an experienced cold-caller position. The BDM will generate outbound cold calls and use prospecting and consultative selling skills, high energy, and initiative to identify opportunities to provide janitorial services to prospective businesses. In doing so, the BDM will set qualified appointments for our sales team to sell Cleaning and Disinfecting Services to prospective businesses and manage the inside and outside sales department. Description

As a top brand ambassador, you would be responsible for driving strategic sales growth and providing a professional client experience while leading the sales team. As stewards of the brand, you are an expert at relationships and feel at home with a variety of clients. BDMs will optimize warm leads and establish new partnerships to build an opportunity pipeline that aligns inside and outside sales with sales goals.

  • Aggressively prospect for new opportunities in the enterprise segment.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with support team and franchisees.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company staff, including support, service, and management resources, to meet sales and performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Meet and maintain minimum daily outbound and inbound call volume scheduled metrics.
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach to new customers via cold calling and other avenues.
  • Learn and become well versed & educated on company products.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead solution development efforts to address franchisee needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Quickly develop value-based business relationships with B2B customers.
  • Revenue generation.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree, or combination of experience and education
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment with a proven track record of success 
  • Experience leading a team preferred
  • PC proficiency, with knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience in acquiring/developing leads
  • Able to make decisions quickly and accurately
  • Able to listen to customer’s needs and make accurate suggestions as they relate to customer’s requests
  • Excellent Communication / interpersonal skills
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency
  • Create relationships from a cold start
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
  • Able to travel locally as needed


Salary

$45,000 - $50,000 per year
