Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pastries, bagels, and other bakery items according to company recipes and standards
- Assist with dough preparation, proofing, shaping, baking, and finishing products
- Maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
- Support production planning to meet daily café demand across multiple locations
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with dishwashing and equipment cleaning
- Collaborate with café and production teams to ensure timely product delivery
Qualifications
- Prior baking or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude
- Passion for coffee, food, and hospitality is a plus
Schedule
- Part-time hours (approx. 15 hours per week)
- Early morning production shifts
Please note: No overnight shifts required! Shift starts 5 am.
