Overview
We are seeking multiple skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance Technicians to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for tenants and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and building structures.
- Perform minor repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Address maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
- Maintain grounds by landscaping, snow removal, and cleaning outdoor areas as needed.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and chemicals.
- Keep records of maintenance activities and report major issues to supervisors.
- Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and special projects when required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in facility maintenance or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment (e.g., power tools, ladders).
- Familiarity with safety standards, such as OSHA regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
