Position Overview
The Program Support Volunteer plays a vital role in helping JAI Care Solutions deliver quality care and learning experiences. Volunteers assist staff in daily activities, educational programs, and community events, providing encouragement, companionship, and hands-on support that align with our mission of faith, service, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support program staff with daily operations, classroom activities, and group sessions.
- Engage positively with clients, students, and residents to encourage participation.
- Assist in preparing materials, setting up rooms, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and support to participants during programs.
- Help facilitate recreational, educational, or enrichment activities as directed.
- Uphold confidentiality and the dignity of all participants.
- Represent JAI Care Solutions with professionalism, kindness, and respect.
- Participate in volunteer orientation and training as required.
- Assist with special events, community outreach, or administrative tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age (parental consent required if under 18).
- Passion for serving others in a faith-based, community setting.
- Friendly, dependable, and respectful demeanor.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
- Completion of a background check and brief orientation prior to placement.
