Position Overview

We are seeking a caring and dependable Private Sitter/ Companion to join our growing care team. This role provides non-medical assistance and companionship to clients in their homes, helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and engaging living environment.

As a Jai Care Solutions companion, you will not perform clinical or hands-on medical care—but your presence, attention, and kindness will make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly companionship, emotional support, and meaningful conversation.
• Engage clients in light social or recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Assist with daily living routines such as meal planning, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Encourage healthy habits and ensure adequate nutrition.
• Provide transportation or escort services to appointments, errands, or community activities (as approved).
• Observe and report any significant changes in the client’s condition or home safety to the family or Jai Care Solutions supervisor.
• Follow infection-control practices and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Respond appropriately in case of a household emergency, following company protocol.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and genuinely interested in improving others’ quality of life.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to maintain detailed notes and complete simple written reports.
• Dependable, professional appearance, and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility or light lifting, if necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Current TB screening (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
• Fingerprint and background check clearance as required by Georgia state regulations.
