Key Responsibilities
• Draft and review documents related to mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, entity formation, contracts, and compliance.
• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Manage estate administration and probate proceedings with attention to detail and empathy for our clients' needs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication.
Qualifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent technology skills (Mac proficiency preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
• A background in corporate law with a desire to gain experience in estate planning.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law; experience in estate planning is a plus but not required.
