Growing and expanding optometry practice seeks an experienced and professional optometric technician/assistant. The mission of our practice is to provide a remarkable experience from beginning to end and to serve our patients as efficiently and courteously as possible. The right candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette. We have a full time position available STARTING ASAP.

Preferred Experience & Abilities:

• Previous front desk medical office experience.
• Experience verifying insurance and obtaining referrals.
• Ability to use scheduling software.
• Experience confirming appointments.
• Experience greeting, checking-in and checking-out patients, making appointments, and answering multiple phone lines.
• Experience posting office charges and copayments.

Mandatory Qualifications: Must be friendly and professional with a desire to provide an optimal patient experience.

• Solid organizational skills are necessary.
• The ability to follow-up and complete tasks is essential.
• Ability to multi-task and perform other general office responsibilities as needed and directed by manager or physician.
• Must be reliable
• Must be able to work Saturdays
• Must be able to work some days until 8 PM.
