Jackson Square Mall is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Weekend Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the mall during peak weekend hours. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with exceptional customer service skills, capable of handling various operational tasks and supporting our diverse array of dealers.

Description

This job requires 2 - 3 days a week, including Saturday and Sunday. Assistant Managers are required to work a minimum of 2 weekends a month.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily mall operations during weekends, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for both shoppers and merchants.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers and merchants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Support Dealers: Assist mall dealers with their needs, including resolving issues, providing information, and facilitating communication with mall management.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor the mall for any safety or security issues, coordinate with security personnel, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of weekend events and promotions, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as preparing reports, managing schedules, and maintaining records.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize computers and software for various tasks including inventory management, scheduling, and communication.
  • Storage Assistance: Assist storage clients with their needs, including facilitating access and providing information about storage services.
  • U-Haul Rentals: Process U-Haul rentals and returns, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction for customers.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to support mall operations and merchant success.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in management is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to use computer, Microsoft Office, Shopify POS
  • Drivers License with Clean driving record
  • Available to work 2-3 Weekends per month
