Duties

• Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring high-quality culinary standards are met consistently
• Lead and motivate kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and support personnel, fostering teamwork and professional growth
• Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
• Create and publish schedules, approve time cards
• Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods and effective staff scheduling
• Hold staff accountable and execute proper disciplinary procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in dining environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management
• Supervising experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting with demonstrated leadership skills
• Extensive knowledge of food safety practices and dietary considerations
• Strong skills in inventory management, schedule creation and food handling procedures
• Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary innovation -- Ideally has their own laptop available.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
