J&M Global Solutions (J&M) is seeking a skilled Palantir Foundry Developer to support a client in Washington, DC (also open to remote candidates). In this role you will support the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of data-driven applications and workflows within the Palantir Foundry platform.

Description

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building Foundry applications, working with data pipelines, integrating source systems, and translating mission or business requirements into practical technical solutions.


This role requires a developer who can work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, troubleshoot platform and workflow issues, and help ensure continuity, usability, and reliability across Foundry-based solutions.


 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and maintain applications, workflows, pipelines, dashboards, and tools within Palantir Foundry.
  • Build and support data integration workflows that ingest, transform, validate, and organize data from multiple source systems.
  • Translate operational, programmatic, or business requirements into functional Foundry solutions that support end-user needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows, identify pain points, and develop scalable solutions within the Foundry environment.
  • Troubleshoot Foundry applications, data pipelines, permission issues, workflow failures, and user-reported defects.
  • Support system administration activities, including user access coordination, configuration updates, documentation, and platform support tasks as needed.
  • Participate in testing, quality assurance, deployment support, and ongoing enhancement of Foundry-based tools.
  • Stay current on Palantir Foundry capabilities, certifications, best practices, and platform updates.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing, configuring, or supporting solutions in Palantir Foundry.
  • Experience with Foundry applications, data pipelines, ontology, object views, workflows, or related Foundry development tools.
  • Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, or a comparable language.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, data transformation, data validation, and data quality practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze system behavior, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understand and work within client infrastructure, security constraints, and data sources, ensuring all changes comply with system authorization and security boundaries.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering reliable, user-focused solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment while coordinating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and able to pass a standard background investigation.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Palantir Foundry certification, especially Foundry Application Developer Certification, Foundry Certification for Data Engineers, Foundry Foundations, or Foundry Builder badges.
  • Experience supporting government clients.
  • Experience using data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, Excel) and data visualization tools (e.g., SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
