Software Support Specialist 

What and who we are: AMS-Doctors Access is an EMR software company. We provide turn-key software solutions and outsourced billing services to a multitude of medical practices including Rural Health Centers (RHC’s), chiropractic practices and general family practices. We provide customized software solutions to medical providers including UB-04 split billing, Bad Debt Reports, Flu and Pneumonia Logs, and Meaningful Use Medicaid Volume Reports. We also offer an easy-to-use Patient Pay portal.

Who we need: We are currently seeking a Software Support Specialist to join our team. This is a great position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working as part of a small team, and participating in collaborative processes. 

How to succeed in this role: A successful candidate is someone who will take the initiative to explore the features of our product and seek to understand WHY our features and solutions work rather than just HOW. To join our team, you'll need to be a quick and flexible thinker, and able to client-face with medical health professionals (sonographers, physicians, chiropractors, medical billers, hospital I.T. administrators, etc.) to confidently provide quality customer support.

In this position you will:

  • Provide daily end user support and training for software applications.
  • Resolve Data Issues and Data Discrepancies in software applications.
  • Cleanup Obsolete or Inaccurate Data in software applications.
  • Provide integration support for software application implementations.
  • Create software application articles, guides, and standard operating procedure documentation for end users.
  • Maintain, organize, and update online knowledge base repository for software application documentation.
  • Monitor software application performance for problems.
  • Pull ad hoc data requests for management.
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback on applications to support system improvement roadmaps.
  • Has excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision.
  • Work independently, organize, plan, and prioritize work.
  • Weekly and monthly billing of client invoices
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Excellent professional and technical writing skills including tone, clarity, grammar, punctuation skills are required specifically for, but not limited to, internal documentation.
  • Outstanding verbal and written customer-facing communication skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems.
  • Must be customer-oriented and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational ability.
  • Able to work independently within defined processes and procedures.
  • A passion for healthcare is a strong plus!


Salary

$50,000 - $60,000 per year
