Ivy City Warehouse Supervisor Riverton, UT · Full time Company website

We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the daily rhythm of our fulfillment floor — receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns. You'll run the morning huddle, keep the team on pace and accurate, and work closely with our Director of Operations to keep things running like clockwork. This is a hands-on role: you'll be in the aisles and in the data every day, coaching team leads and associates directly.

Description

Below you'll find an overview of the expectations and daily responsibilities in the job.

DAILY OPERATIONS

  • Run day-to-day warehouse operations — receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
  • Lead the daily morning huddle with team leads and associates
  • Spot process inefficiencies on the floor and help test and roll out fixes
  • Serve as the floor-level point of contact for day-to-day warehouse questions from other departments

RECEIVING

  • Run the receiving process day-to-day, from inbound appointment through putaway
  • Import purchase orders into our order management system and reconcile received quantities against expected
  • Keep our inventory tracking system current throughout receiving so other teams have accurate, real-time visibility
  • Flag right away if inventory won't arrive in time for a scheduled launch, so the right teams can plan around it

INVENTORY & ACCURACY

  • Execute pre-order splits so available inventory ships promptly and backordered items follow once stock arrives
  • Investigate the daily discrepancy report and track down missing or misplaced units
  • Conduct monthly counts of inventory, returns, and supplies
  • Support the annual physical inventory count on the floor
  • Assist with showroom inventory pulls for launches and restocks

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Directly supervise, coach, and train warehouse team leads and associates
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones with team leads
  • Approve day-to-day timesheets and standard time-off requests per policy
  • Help interview and onboard new warehouse hires
  • Help schedule temp staff during peak periods

SHIPPING & SUPPLIES

  • Manage day-to-day international order fulfillment, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time shipment
  • Track packaging and supply usage and place orders within budget
  • Conduct the monthly shipping audit — package weights and carrier charges vs. what we were billed — and resolve discrepancies

REPORTING

  • Maintain the daily warehouse metrics sheet
  • Keep leadership informed on floor performance, risks, and issues
  • Prioritize and execute inbound requests from other departments (photoshoot pulls, product development samples, showroom needs)

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment
  • At least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity, with proven ability to coach a team and hold it accountable to accuracy and throughput standards
  • Comfortable spending most of the day on the floor — this is a hands-on, physical role that involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track details across receiving, inventory, and shipping at the same time
  • Clear, proactive communicator who flags issues early rather than letting them become bigger problems
  • Comfortable learning and working within warehouse, inventory, and shipping software
  • Experience in DTC or e-commerce fulfillment

NICE TO HAVE

  • Familiarity with warehouse or order management systems (we use WOS)
  • Experience with Airtable, Global-e, Shopify, Slack, Ramp
  • Experience with pre-order or launch-based inventory management

None of the above are dealbreakers — we're happy to train the right person on our specific tools.
