Job Title: School Transportation Driver

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $25.00 per route

Job Description:

We are seeking responsible and reliable individuals to join our team for the remaining 2023 school year & 2023-2024 upcoming school year as a School Transportation Driver. The primary role of this position is to provide safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate personal vehicle in a safe & efficient manner and transport students to and from school
• Ensure the safety of students by following traffic laws, driving cautiously, and obeying all safety regulations
• Communicate with dispatch via mobile app regarding transportation issues and concerns
• Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities and complete required documentation
• Follow established routes and schedules and adjust as necessary to ensure timely arrival and departure

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Driver's License (non-CDL ok)
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school officials
• Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
• Must have a strong commitment to safety and a desire to provide excellent customer service

Salary:

The salary for this position is $20.00 per route + .75 per mile. A typical route consists of morning and afternoon trips and may vary in length depending on the school's location. This is a part-time position with opportunities for additional hours and routes based on availability and performance.
