Description

Summary: We are seeking a technically strong and operationally disciplined Director of Network Services to own site delivery and network operations, from new site turn-up through performance monitoring and technical escalation. This role owns the standards, processes, and execution that ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing client networks around the globe. The Director of Network Services will oversee all aspects of network design, deployment, operations, and support while driving continuous improvement in resiliency, uptime, and service quality.


This leader will run the day-to-day while building the systems that make the day-to-day predictable, turning escalations into standards, standards into training, and training into shifts that resolve issues on first touch. They will serve as the most senior infrastructure engineer and the final escalation point for complex issues, while building a distributed team that delivers consistent service across every shift and every region. They will own escalation paths and vendor relationships while building a high-performance culture rooted in engineering excellence and client trust.


Key duties:

  • Manage the daily operations of the network services organization
  • Act as the most senior infrastructure engineer, representing isofy directly to clients during escalations and complex project delivery
  • Lead and develop project management, site delivery, and network operations teams, owning delivery and service quality across the full site and project portfolio
  • Serve as isofy's technical voice with clients and partners in sales engineering and diligence exercises


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead network operations, ensuring 24/7 monitoring, proactive detection, and rapid resolution of network incidents at client sites around the globe.
  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve technical standards for all client network infrastructure. 
  • Own site uptime, resiliency, and performance targets, and the lifecycle planning that sustains them.
  • Ensure teams in every region operate under the same remit, standards, and skill expectations so coverage quality does not vary by shift or location.
  • Maintain the escalation model across Tier 1 support and Tier 2/3 engineering, serving as the final escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Oversee break-fix dispatches and RMAs, ensuring rapid response and minimal client disruption.
  • Manage project and site delivery, ensuring new client sites are installed, configured, and turned up on schedule and to design and compliance standards.
  • Partner with the sales team as technical lead on scoping, solution design, and client diligence.
  • Act as a peer-to-peer technical relationship manager with enterprise clients and reseller partners, aligning network architecture with their needs.
  • Own vendor and hardware partner relationships, including contract negotiation, standards alignment, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and develop engineering and technical operations teams through structured KPIs, 1:1s, and coaching to build a culture of accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Build the hiring, onboarding, and skills development path that brings new engineers to full shift readiness.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between network services, software, and customer-facing teams to deliver an integrated client experience.
  • Own and execute infrastructure-related initiatives in alignment with annual company goals.
  • Recommend and manage against the network services budget, balancing cost control with investments in people, tools, and infrastructure.


Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with 3+ years leading engineering or technical operations teams.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise networking, wireless design, structured cabling, and cloud-managed infrastructure.
  • Track record of establishing and enforcing technical standards across multi-site deployments.
  • Strong background in network architecture, uptime and resiliency planning, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven success leading escalation management and client-facing technical engagements.
  • History of running 24/7 or shift-based operations, including coverage planning and escalation design.
  • Strong vendor and hardware ecosystem knowledge with an emphasis on compatibility and lifecycle planning.
  • Track record of leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a departmental budget effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Salary

$110,000 - $130,000 per year
