Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Women’s Locker Room Attendant to join our team at Island Spa & Sauna. The attendant will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and ensuring that every guest receives a consistent and memorable experience. Working closely with Floor Management and other departments, the ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for guests in the Women’s Locker Room and Bathhouse while maintaining exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.



General Accountabilities

  • Ensure the safety of all guests in the locker room and bathhouse
  • Greet and direct guests on policies and practices within the locker room and bathhouse
  • Manage guest service appointments
  • Manage and track Spa Service Technician appointments
  • Test and chemically balance the tubs every two hours to comply with New Jersey Department of Health Standards
  • Provide Yoni steam services and handle guest intake
  • Adhere to the uniform policy and maintain a high standard of appearance, professionalism, and personal hygiene
  • Develop and maintain a positive work environment with others
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to address and record guest suggestions, complaints, concerns, and comments
  • Be available and respond to inquiries and requests from guests pertaining to spa services n& amenities, facility accommodations, and Island Spa policies and procedures 
  • Coordinate with other departments through work communication platforms 
  • Drive sales for products and services offered by Island Spa
  • Comply with quality assurance standards and expectations
  • Maintain a neat, tidy, and sanitary work area according to Island Spa Health and Safety standards 


Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: Some previous work-related experience in customer service.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, at least two hours intervals.  
  • Must be able to work in a sitting position for an extended period of time; at least four hours.  
  • On occasion may be required to lift and carry heavy objects, push or pull heavy objects; kneel, bend or stoop, and ascend or descend ladders or stairs.  
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and in stressful situations.  
  • Must respond to multiple task interruptions and still provide service to internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.  
  • May require local travel to various locations on business.

**We are currently looking for a Full Time and/or Part Time employee that is open/flexible to working Nights and Weekends.**

Salary

$15.5 - $16.5 per hour
