Iron North Coatings is seeking a Crew Lead to oversee on-site concrete floor coating installations and ensure top-quality results. Based in Empire, MN, this role requires strong leadership, expert coating application skills, and excellent communication with customers and crew members. The Crew Lead will be responsible for managing the job site, troubleshooting installation challenges, training team members, and maintaining efficiency. This position includes advanced industry training with experts, equipping you with cutting-edge techniques in epoxy, polyaspartic, and urethane coating systems. Description
What You’ll Do:
✔ Lead and manage on-site installation crews to ensure job quality and efficiency.
✔ Communicate professionally with customers, answering questions and ensuring satisfaction.
✔ Apply concrete coating systems (epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane, and other coatings) with expert precision.
✔ Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges, including surface preparation issues and installation concerns.
✔ Train and mentor crew members, ensuring all team members follow proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
✔ Oversee job site organization, tool maintenance, and adherence to project timelines.
✔ Attend advanced off-site training with industry experts to expand skills and knowledge.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Proven experience in concrete coatings or a related trade (experience with epoxy/polyaspartic coatings preferred).
✔ Strong leadership skills – Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and maintain efficiency.
✔ Excellent communication – Comfortable working with customers and crew members.
✔ Detail-Oriented & Problem Solver – Ability to troubleshoot and ensure flawless coating installations.
✔ Physically Capable – Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet, and handle equipment.
✔ Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation – Required for this position.
✔ Ability to pass a background check – Required prior to employment.

Salary
$22 - $32 per hour
