Systems Engineer II

Description

The Level II Systems Engineer at InZernet Technologies will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's computer systems and networks. This individual will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions through the company's products and services. The Level II Systems Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing technical support to other team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware, software, and systems.
  • Participating in the design and implementation of systems, including choosing hardware and software solutions, configuring servers and networking equipment, and developing and testing scripts and automation tools.
  • Monitoring and managing the performance and availability of systems, including performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Managing and maintaining documentation for systems, including technical specifications, network diagrams, and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as the network and security teams, to ensure that systems are secure and compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members, as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
  • Expertise in a variety of operating systems and networks
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
