Facilities Manager

Description

IZT is currently seeking a proactive and responsible Facilities Manager to oversee our company’s facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of services and processes that support the core business, ensuring that our company has the most suitable working environment for its employees and activities.


Responsibilities:


1. Oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.

2. Ensure the organization is in compliance with all health and safety regulations.

3. Supervise and manage a team of facility service staff, providing guidance, and organizing work schedules.

4. Facilitate regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment; monitor fire alarm control panels and other emergency equipment.

5. Manage services such as cleaning, security, and parking to ensure they meet the needs of the business and its employees.

6. Manage and lead change regarding facility planning; make recommendations on space planning, re-configurations, and facility expansions.

7. Manage budgets, ensuring that costs are managed effectively, and significant savings opportunities are identified.

8. Be the point of contact for staff and service providers for any issues regarding the facility.


Qualifications:


1. Bachelor’s degree in facility management, engineering, business administration, or related field.

2. Proven experience as a facility manager or relevant position.

3. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

6. Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principals.

7. Competent in problem-solving, team building, and decision-making.

8. Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
