We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable MongoDB Database Administrator for our IT team. The ideal candidate will have solid skills in database management along with experience in PHP to ensure high performance and responsiveness. Your main responsibility will be to organize our company's data and make it accessible to users, ensuring all databases have secure, efficient performance with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain databases to ensure high availability and performance of the databases that support the business applications.

- Ensure the database environment is stable, secure, and capable of meeting ongoing business needs through ongoing maintenance activities.

- Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and system optimization to ensure the best possible performance within MongoDB.

- Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate issues affecting the databases.

- Ensure database backup procedures are successfully operated and that effective recovery takes place when necessary.

- Develop PHP applications for database management.

- Work closely with application developers to ensure efficient use of database resources.

- Plan and implement required database growth and modifications.

- Maintain database documentation, procedures and definition for the data dictionary.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a MongoDB Database Administrator.

- Proficiency in PHP programming language.

- Solid understanding of MongoDB concepts such as sharding, replication, and disaster recovery.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage all aspects of a database.

- Strong attention to detail, with good communication skills.

- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity.
