Description

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dependable Spanish Speaking Lead Teacher to support our campus.

The ideal applicant for this position must have the ability to readwrite, and speak Spanish fluently and has experience teaching children between 3 to 6 years of age and is self-motivated and capable of creating an engagingnurturing, and kind environment for our students.

Lead teachers are responsible for designing and implementing curricula, as well as mentoring teaching staff. In this position, you will also be required to represent our school to stakeholders.

To ensure success as a preschool teacher, you should demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills. Top candidates will have a thorough understanding of project-based, play-based learning and experience in Montessori inspired curricula.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST THE POSSESS THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Has a passion for working with ages 3-6
  • Is Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Has excellent communication skills and loves to collaborate
  • Continuously self-reflects and seeks ways to grow as a person and educator
  • Is excited to help assistant teachers have a helpful experience and to provide them with continuous guidance
  • Is eager to help people new to Montessori understand the benefits of Montessori and how Montessori works
  • Loves exchanging ideas with others so we can all benefit from each other’s strengths and knowledge

Lead Teacher Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual Spanish & English
  • Valid state license or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Prior experience in teaching within this age group.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to mentor a diverse group of individuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for early childhood development.

Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
