About us
AiArthritis is led by people living with autoimmune and autoinflammatory arthritis (AiArthritis) diseases. Our work is peer-led: we listen to patients, find what is missing from the conversations that shape research, care and policy, and bring patients in to build what closes it. We’re a small, fully remote team, so every role touches the work that reaches the next person living with an AiArthritis disease.
The role
You’ll help build the educational resources and programs that patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals rely on. Working with our Health Education Manager, you’ll turn research, community questions and program insights into clear, evidence-informed materials people can use. Our programs are still growing, so you’ll help shape how this work gets done.
What you’ll do
- Research health education topics and find credible, evidence-based sources.
- Write and update guides, handouts, FAQs, presentations and digital resources in plain, patient-friendly language.
- Apply health literacy and culturally responsive communication principles to everything you create.
- Prepare presentations, discussion guides and participant materials for virtual and in-person programs.
- Review community questions, surveys and feedback to find recurring needs and what is missing from current resources.
- Turn content from conferences, podcasts and webinars into summaries, FAQs and follow-up resources.
- Test digital education content, including Araiah, our Ai Companion, for clarity and patient relevance.
- Route content that needs medical or subject-matter expert review before it goes out.
- Work with editors, medical experts, patient volunteers and partners to get resources finished.
