Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal with experience in Removal Defense to support our immigration legal team. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with removal defense cases before the Immigration Court and BIA
  • Prepare and file motions, briefs, and supporting documentation
  • Draft applications, affidavits, and correspondence
  • Maintain and organize case files and deadlines
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and document collection
  • Coordinate court hearings, filings, and attorney calendars
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS and EOIR procedures and deadlines


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a paralegal in removal defense or immigration law preferred
  • Knowledge of EOIR procedures and immigration court processes
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with case management systems and Googe
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required

Salary

$20 - $24 per hour
