EXPERIENCED GLAZIER: HIGH END RESIDENTIAL/ LIGHT COMMERCIAL

Position: Seeking motivated EXPERIENCED (minimum 2 years) window and door installation / glazing.

Schedule: FULL-TIME, Mon-Fri with overtime as needed.

Pay: Rates start at $25/hour. Negotiated based on experience level, opportunity for growth and advancement.

Essential Duties: 

- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.

- Carry up to 65lbs.

- Use suction cups to carry glass with others.

- Drive to and from job sites in your own vehicle.

- Work under the supervision of a foreman.

- Use a crane with suction cups to lift glass into place.

- Use your cell phone to: clock in and out, submit daily reports.

- Waterproofing/ flashing, sill pans, window/door installation.

Minimum Requirements: 

- Journeyman level experience in glazing or window installation.

- Knowledge of block frame and nail fin installation of sliders, pivot doors, casements, awnings, hoppers, curtain walls, bi-folds, glass handrails.

- Own basic hand tools & power tools, levels and lasers.

- Reliable transportation, valid driver license, auto insurance and social security number.

- Reliable cell phone and ability to complete occasional online trainings.

- Work boots, pants, and black T-shirt (company to provide shirts, hats).

- Ability to travel within greater Los Angeles and surrounding areas. We service projects from North Malibu to Dana Point/South Orange County.

- Punctual and reliable with a strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

- Manual labor including but not limited to taking delivery of large windows, doors, glass products.

- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.

- Carry up to 65lbs.

- Stand and walk up to 8hrs per day.

- Ability to carry, set up, and climb (extension) ladders, scaffolds.

- Ability to work on knees as required.
