Description
The Role
As a Food Service Worker at Instant Impact Global Prep Charter School, you will support the preparation and serving of meals to students in a welcoming and efficient manner. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of meal service stations.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all students.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service during meal times.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in food service or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Nice to Have
- Certification in food handling or safety.
- Experience working in an educational or institutional setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
