Inspire Access is searching for a part-time, 20hrs/week, Administrative Assistant (Hybrid) to support our Founder/CEO with her development efforts. This person will provide the foundational support the team needs to focus on advancing the organization’s mission of closing the investment gap for women and people of color.

Your Responsibilities


As Development Assistant, you will:

  • Learn and manage our CRM and accounting database, CommunitySuite, providing data entry, grant tracking, donor reporting, etc.
  • Work with the CEO to track moves management and the donor grant lifecycle
  • Prepare CEO for donor meetings and follow up to record notes and takeaways
  • Ensure the CEO is executing timely outreach and responses with donors
  • Create and deliver materials to be shared with donors (commitment letter, side letter, etc.)
  • Send email communications to donors regarding organizational updates, reminders, and other outreach, as requested 
  • Organize and maintain our electronic filing system, ensuring that all side letters and necessary founder documents are properly stored


Your Qualifications


You have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Gmail and Google Calendar
  • Expertise on spreadsheets and managing data entry and reporting (e.g. MS Office or Google sheets)
  • Experience managing a CRM and accounting database
  • Strong communication verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A high level of enthusiasm and passion about Inspire Access’s work
  • A positive attitude and great sense of humor
  • Be located in MD, DC, or VA.

Inspire Access is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to close the gender and racial investment gap by investing philanthropic dollars to fund companies led by female and diverse founders who have historically lacked investment capital. We allow people to use funds sitting in their charitable entity to direct investments in for-profit companies led by women and people of color, with any return flowing back to those personal charitable entities to make an even greater impact.

Salary

$25 - $35 per hour
