Insight Vision Care is a privately owned ophthalmology and optometry practice located in Edina. Our mission is to provide the best care to our patients. Dr. Jafar Hasan is fellowship trained in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. He sees patients for medical consultations and comprehensive exams. Dr. Afira Hasan sees patients for comprehensive care and contact lenses.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide patients through frame and lens selection, ensuring optimal visual outcomes, comfort, aesthetics, and lifestyle fit.
• Accurately interpret prescriptions and place lens and frame orders with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and care, helping them make informed decisions with confidence.
• Provide contact lens instruction, including insertion, removal, and care education.
• Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear to ensure proper fit, function, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and clinical staff to deliver a seamless, high-quality patient experience.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized optical environment that reflects Insight Vision Care’s commitment to excellence.
• Support inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and merchandising frames and lenses.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and documentation standards in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an optician in a private practice or retail optical setting.
• Licensure/Certification: ABO certification preferred but not required.
