Position: Psychometrist (Part-time)
Salary & Benefits:
This is a part-time, hourly position. The pay range for this position is $21-$23 per hour, dependent on experience. This position requires 2-3 days per week in office assisting the testing provider with clients. Some weeks may require one day and some could require 4 depending on need. Flexibility in scheduling is a must, however, schedules are provided at least a month in advance for planning purposes.

Location: Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne)
*We also test in Concord 1-2 days a week so you could be needed at that location occasionally as well.

Role Responsibilities:
- Psychometry. You will work in person 2-3 days a week (on average) to actively participate in our in-person testing days to include administration of standardized cognitive measures and academic screeners. Intake tasks will still be completed on these days in any downtime. Other tasks include greeting clients/families in the waiting room, scoring and uploading measures administered, communicating behavioral observations to the psychologist, and communicating restocking supply needs.
- Collaboration. Since our team includes several smaller teams that work hybrid or even fully remote, clear communication is key at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Psychology preferred.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred to assist us in reaching the Spanish speaking population in our area and to enable us to offer Spanish testing days to clients in need.
- Experience: Some experience in a similar position is strongly preferred, but we are also open to training a candidate who is warm, conscientious, and willing to learn.
- Preferred experience with at least one of the Wechsler tests (WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WASI-2) and/or with KBIT-2R, EVT-3, PPVT-5 and WRAT-5. Experience with DKEFS or RBANS could also be helpful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to assist with testing across the age span to include children and adults (ideally as young as 2 years and 6 months).
- Skills: Attention to detail and demonstrated strengths in organizing, multitasking, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines. Collaborative nature as well as the ability to work independently. Warmth, friendliness, and ability to remain calm during stressful situations are essential. We are a mental health clinic so clients may present as anxious, hyper, or guarded. A calm presence and ability to establish rapport is essential.
