Onsite Warehouse Manager

Description

Overview: Manage the economic, material, and human resources of the warehouse processes to comply with the objectives and policies established for their achievement and control; optimizing the use of resources to ensure high levels of service and productivity in the supply of finished goods, storage of materials and optimal conditions of maintenance, assets and equipment, conditions and safety in the sites and facilities of the company.

Responsible for managing the warehouse supervisors, among other warehouse roles and functions.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage compliance with product and material inventory policies to ensure the supply of market demand
  • Manage and efficiently administer the working capital of the warehouses that allows to have an optimal administration of human and material resources to meet the needs of the business
  • Manage, establish and administer the costs and expenses of the processes through the reports of the SAP system that contribute to achieve an efficient administration of the financial resources assigned and budgeted for the period
  • Manage and establish work procedures that allow achieving high productivity in the execution of the activities of the processes
  • Manage and/or administer the PIT fleet that guarantees availability for use in the best mechanical and image conditions requested by the Company
  • Participate in the monitoring and compliance with the QUALITY and SAFETY management system
  • Participate in the monitoring and compliance with the environmental management system
  • Participate in the monitoring and compliance with the Safety management system


Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Master’s degree preferred


Experience:

  • 1-3 years warehouse/inventory experience needed
  • Experience managing supervisor level employees required
  • Minimum of 2 years managing in a warehouse/inventory environment preferred
  • Proficient in PC and database skills. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Strong leadership and people development skills required
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
  • Six Sigma and 5S experience preferred
