Inner Circle Mental Health is hiring a part-time licensed mental health professional to provide in-office therapy services at our Norman, Oklahoma location.

This position is designed for a clinician seeking a consistent part-time schedule, predictable hourly compensation, administrative support, furnished office space, and connection to an established clinical team.

Inner Circle specializes in serving first responders, veterans, emergency personnel, healthcare workers, and others working in high-trauma or high-stress professions. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, dependable, culturally responsive, and interested in trauma-informed work.

The clinician will generally work Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., providing outpatient therapy and completing related documentation, care coordination, and clinical responsibilities during scheduled work hours.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Afternoon Therapist is a W-2 employee of Inner Circle Mental Health.

The clinician will generally provide approximately 16 appointment slots per week within a 20-hour work schedule. Remaining scheduled time may be used for documentation, client communication, care coordination, training, case consultation, intake support, and other assigned clinical or administrative responsibilities.

Compensation

This is an hourly W-2 employee position.

The anticipated starting rate is $36–$40 per hour.

• Years of post-licensure experience
• Relevant trauma-treatment experience
• Specialized clinical certifications
• Experience serving first responders, veterans, or related populations
• Documentation, communication, and clinical judgment
• Overall fit with Inner Circle’s clinical needs and culture

The top of the advertised range is reserved for highly qualified candidates with substantial relevant experience, specialized trauma training, first-responder or veteran experience, or another valuable clinical specialty.

Employees are paid for all approved hours worked, including scheduled clinical care, required documentation, approved meetings, training, care coordination, and other assigned responsibilities.

Payroll is processed every two weeks. Applicable federal and state payroll taxes will be withheld.

Actual compensation will depend on the employee’s approved hourly rate and hours worked.

Caseload Expectations

The clinician will generally maintain approximately 16 recurring appointment slots per week.

During the initial onboarding and credentialing period, the caseload will build gradually. It may take approximately 60–90 days to complete payer credentialing and several additional months to develop a consistent caseload.

Expected productivity after the initial ramp-up period is approximately:

• 12–16 completed client sessions per week
• Timely completion of all documentation
• Consistent maintenance of assigned availability
• Appropriate client retention and continuity of care
• Prompt communication regarding cancellations, schedule changes, and client needs

Clinical productivity, availability, client retention, documentation, and overall position fit will be reviewed during the first 90 days and periodically thereafter.

Training and Team Support

Selected clinicians will have the opportunity to complete ResponderReady Clinician Certification, a training valued at approximately $3,100.

ResponderReady training is a core part of how Inner Circle prepares clinicians to work effectively with first responders, veterans, emergency personnel, and other high-trauma occupational groups.

Inner Circle also provides in-house continuing education opportunities as available.

Clinical team meetings are generally held on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. Attendance may be required when meetings fall within the employee’s scheduled work hours or when otherwise approved in advance. Required meetings and training are paid.

Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Provide outpatient mental health therapy to assigned clients.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a consistent caseload based on assigned availability.
• Provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and other clinical documentation within required timelines.
• Evaluate client safety and respond appropriately to clinical risk.
• Coordinate care with other professionals when clinically appropriate and properly authorized.
• Maintain compliance with Oklahoma licensing requirements.
• Follow applicable ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional scope-of-practice limitations.
• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices related to trauma, stress injury, anxiety, depression, moral injury, grief, occupational stress, and related behavioral health needs.

Administrative and Team Responsibilities

• Use Inner Circle’s EHR for scheduling, documentation, treatment planning, and client communication.
• Maintain accurate time records for all hours worked.
• Complete documentation and administrative responsibilities during approved working hours.
• Communicate promptly regarding client concerns, scheduling problems, absences, and clinical risks.
• Participate in required meetings, training, supervision, and consultation.
• Assist with intake calls, client follow-up, resource development, care coordination, or other appropriate duties during open appointment time.
• Maintain professionalism with clients, team members, referral partners, and community stakeholders.
• Follow Inner Circle policies and procedures.
• Protect confidential and sensitive client information.
• Maintain professional liability insurance as required by Inner Circle policy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, addiction counseling, or another qualifying behavioral health field.
• Active Oklahoma clinical license in good standing, including one of the following:
• LPC
• LCSW
• LMFT
• LADC
• PsyD
• Licensed Psychologist
• Ability to provide independent clinical services within the scope of the clinician’s Oklahoma license.
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a consistent Monday-through-Thursday schedule.
• Ability to work primarily in person at the Norman office.
• Ability to complete employment, credentialing, background-screening, and onboarding requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
• Experience working with first responders, veterans, law enforcement, fire and EMS professionals, dispatchers, healthcare workers, or other high-trauma occupational populations.
• Experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, moral injury, occupational stress, relationship concerns, or related conditions.
• Training in EMDR, CPT, TF-CBT, or another evidence-based trauma treatment model.
• Familiarity with psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical risk management.
• Strong understanding of wellness, recovery, resiliency, and occupational stress.
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to a collaborative clinical team.
• Willingness to complete ResponderReady Clinician Certification.

Work Environment

This is primarily an in-office position at Inner Circle Mental Health in Norman, Oklahoma.

Limited hybrid flexibility may be considered after onboarding, credentialing, and caseload development. Hybrid work is not guaranteed and will depend on client needs, clinical appropriateness, office operations, and position performance.

The employee must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to the Norman office for assigned shifts.
