Job Description
inHealth Lifestyle Therapeutics provides lifestyle support to employee members of various organizations throughout the country as an Employer Health Coach. As an Employer Health Coach, you will have the opportunity to help improve the quality of life for members through lifestyle modification. You will work with members who have been referred into Employer Wellness programs such as Diabetes Prevention, Healthy Blood Pressure, Healthy Weight, Tobacco Cessation, etc.
Overall duties include: Health coaching based on educational background and certifications.

Essential Functions:
- Practices holistic lifestyle coaching to support healthy lifestyle change. Specifically encourages members to follow health coaching program guidelines.
- Specializes in behavioral lifestyle therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Uses customer service skills to recruit and retain members in the program for health coaching.
- Open inHealth calendar(s) to received members within the inHealth affiliated system(s).
Other Duties
- Complete visit related administrative duties including: Chart note taking, ordering products, documentation, data documentation and outcomes.
- Monitors performance of members using designated outcome measures exported through the inHealth system.
- Will participate in all quality control performance reviews as needed by the inHealth Medical Services, Inc. quality control team.
Needs to be hired:
- Complete training for inHealth systems and programs.
- Pass the Practical Skills Assessment(s) for the patient types you will be allocated.
- Current computer with a minimum processor speed and internet bandwidth that meets requirements as outlined in inHealth Medical Services policies to maintain operational function.
- Current smart phone as outlined in inHealth Medical Services policies that is available for HIPAA compliant conversations through the inHealth secure platform.
- HIPAA compliant location to conduct visits.
- Average availability of ~15 hours per week or greater on the inHealth Platform to receive members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, problem solver, able to organize time and job assignments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior change, motivational interviewing, and health education delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health coaching for the populations allocated.
- Valid health Coaching Certification (NBHWC preferred).
- One (1) year of previous health education/coaching experience. (Desired)
- Associate degree or at least 75 hours towards a degree in education, nutrition, health science, health promotion, community health, health and wellness, kinesiology, or similar field.
- Fluent in English: reading and writing.
- Fluent in Spanish or other languages (Desired)
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple technology platforms.
- Knowledge of computer software, programs, and or applications required.
