GeoBase Regional Technician will ensure all geospatial data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant standards
- Support the assigned Regional Administrator to provide comprehensive support for the maintenance and update of Common Installation Pictures (CIPs) to ensure all geospatial data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant standards.
- Provide hands-on support and management of military installation geospatial data using ArcGIS.
- Assist installation personnel with Linear Segmentation efforts.
- Provide technical support to military units regarding GIS software issues, and offer hardware recommendations to optimize GIS capabilities.
- Serve as a point of contact for GeoBase-related matters in their multi-state geographic region.
- Facilitate communication between installations and higher headquarters.
- Prepare status reports.
- Must reside in Central or Southeastern United States due to regional travel requirements. Live near Scott AFB, IL desired.
Requirements:
- 2 years ArcGIS experience
- Up to 25% travel requirement
- Must pass background check
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite, especially Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
