Position Overview
Influx Clinet is seeking an experienced Systems Architect (Advanced) to provide cloud engineering and infrastructure support across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments. This role focuses on designing, deploying, securing, and maintaining cloud solutions that comply with state and federal regulatory standards.
This is a staff augmentation role requiring a mix of onsite collaboration and remote technical work.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Design, deploy, and manage solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain Azure Bicep templates for infrastructure automation
- Configure networking components including load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and virtual networks
- Implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures
DevOps & Automation
- Manage source code in Azure DevOps repositories
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML
- Automate infrastructure deployments and system configurations
Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- FBI CJIS Policy 6.0
- NIST 800-53
- Rule 60GG-2, F.A.C.
- GCC and GCC High environments
- Implement encryption, vulnerability management, and threat protection
- Secure Azure Active Directory and cloud resources
Infrastructure Management
- Manage virtual machines (Hyper-V, VMware vSphere) including deployment, optimization, and disaster recovery
- Configure and maintain cloud storage solutions, backups, and archival systems
- Deploy and manage Docker containers via IaaS and PaaS (Azure Container Registry)
Networking
- Design and manage hybrid cloud networking
- Configure VPNs, ExpressRoute, BGP routing, and load balancing (Layer 4 & 7)
- Manage public/private IP addressing and traffic routing
- Experience with MyFloridaNet (MFN2) preferred
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL for system monitoring and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
- Expertise in:
- Azure networking stack
- Infrastructure as Code (Azure Bicep)
- CI/CD pipelines (YAML, Azure DevOps)
- Hands-on experience with:
- PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL Server
- Office 365 administration
- Knowledge of:
- Palo Alto firewalls (Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager)
- Hybrid cloud security and networking
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CoPilot in legal environments, LawBase, OnBase, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Familiarity with CJIS-compliant environments
- Experience with state government networks (MFN2)
