Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale software application projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams, technologies, and business functions. The ideal candidate will drive project execution, ensure alignment with business objectives, and deliver high-quality results within defined timelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. (Active PMP is Must)
- Formal project management training or completion of a recognized PM curriculum
Experience
- 10+ years of project management experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale software implementation projects
- Experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously
- Experience working across various technologies and functional areas
- Strong experience in documenting technical and business requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Project Manager for software application projects
- Collaborate with PMO leadership to prioritize and assign project resources
- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
- Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Drive effective communication across all project stakeholders
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Strong knowledge of resource management and change management practices
- Ability to understand and guide teams on complex web-based applications
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Excellent documentation and process definition skills
