We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Application Developer to support large-scale application development and implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing web applications using the .NET architecture and C#, along with experience in application testing, technical documentation, database development, and modern web technologies.

The candidate will work closely with developers, project managers, and multiple stakeholder groups to understand business requirements, develop solutions, conduct testing, and deliver high-quality technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing web applications.
• Minimum 7 years of experience developing applications using the .NET architecture.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with C# programming.
• Minimum 7 years of experience producing technical documentation, including:
• Business and technical requirements
• Functional/technical specifications
• Traceability matrices
• Application designs
• Test plans and test documentation
• Minimum 7 years of experience testing custom applications, reports, large datasets, and/or dashboards.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with PL/SQL or T-SQL preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with MVC architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as:
• React
• AngularJS
• Other modern JavaScript frameworks
• Minimum 2 years of experience with HTML5 preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Demonstrated experience working with other developers and project managers under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale implementation projects.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups with diverse and competing needs and expectations.
• Experience working in state government is preferred.
• Experience working in Education or Early Learning environments is highly preferred.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET application development.
• Advanced proficiency in C#.
• Strong understanding of ASP.NET / MVC architecture.
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level web applications.
• Strong database development skills using T-SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• Experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks, including React and AngularJS.
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and web application development.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical specifications, requirements documentation, design documents, traceability matrices, and testing documentation.
• Strong application testing and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with large datasets, reports, dashboards, and custom applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, project managers, business users, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a large-scale implementation environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• State government IT project experience.
• Education or Early Learning domain experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise or statewide applications.
