Requirements:

1. • Availability to work at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
2. • IT work experience (7-10 years), including 4 or more years managing projects.
3. • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
4. • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Excel;
5. • Experience with principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution;
6. • Experience in current trends and State of Florida initiatives in the area of management information systems;
7. • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid processes;
8. • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum (required);
9. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following) :

1. • Implement project management methodologies in compliance with 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code. Monitor and manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and scope, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Conduct stakeholder communications to provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential issues.
2. • Oversee IT infrastructure and applications projects, ensuring alignment with the Client’s strategic goals. Coordinate with technical teams to manage system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
3. • Identify opportunities for process improvement within project management practices. Apply lessons learned from previous projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
4. • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and final reports. Prepare regular updates and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
5. • Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including security and confidentiality requirements. The Project Manager will support various IT projects, including but not limited to system implementations, application upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
