Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and booking meetings with decision-makers at small and mid-sized businesses across our target industries. You’ll handle outbound outreach, qualify inbound leads, and help build the foundation of our sales org. This is a commission-only, high-upside opportunity for someone who wants to learn, earn, and grow with a founder-led team.


What You'll Earn

Commission Structure:


  • 8–12% commission on first month’s MRR for closed deals you source
  • 8% recurring commission on meetings you book that close and remain active
  • Quarterly/annual bonuses, equity awards, President’s Club, and competitions for top performers

How It Works:


  • Book a meeting that closes a $3K/month client: You earn $240–$360 upfront, then $240/month recurring
  • Book 15 meetings/month, 25–30 SQLs, 300–400 outreach contacts/month: OTE $28K–$35K+ Year 1, $67K–$80K+ Year 2+ (no cap)

Unlimited upside: The more you book and close, the more you earn—no cap, no expiration.


Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills:


  • 1+ year of sales, recruiting, or business development experience (agency/marketing/SaaS a plus, not required)
  • Strong prospecting, cold calling, and outreach skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Organization, self-management, and resilience to rejection
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—excited to help build from the ground up
  • Comfort with commission-only, performance-based comp

Preferred (But Not Required):


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience in consulting or with industries like Professional Services, Automotive, Manufacturing, Technology/SaaS, Education, or E-commerce
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms
