EDUCATION:

High School Diploma preferred. 

EXPERIENCE:

One year of experience in a human services setting; strong professional references attesting to high degree of customer service, punctuality, and professionalism. 

KIPU experience preferred. 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Current registration as a Registered Recovery Worker or Registered Student through CCAPP. 

Current certification in First Aid/CPR 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ability to follow instructions clearly and precisely while experiencing multiple competing demands for employee time.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Position requires work in a temperature-controlled environment; 80% - 90% of the time spent indoors.

Potential exposure to violent situations.

Routine tasks do not create potential exposure to airborne/blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS:

May include operating motor vehicles, lifting up to 20 lbs., constant monitoring of clients and crisis intervention.

PERFORMANCE/PROFICIENCY STANDARDS:

Performance standards are integrated within the position responsibilities.  The principal functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of the all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

1. Assistance with Case Management duties and/or documentation within Starbridge Recovery and DHCS timelines. 
2. Client rounds on a half hour basis and documentation in KIPU. 
3. Responsible to read shift log at beginning of shift and complete their own shift log and essential tasks contained therein by conclusion of shift. 
4. Complete new admission intake procedures according to Starbridge Recover, LLC policies on all new admissions (UA, breathalyze, belongings searches, paperwork) 
5. Documentation of daily progress in client files. Overnight staff to document in progress notes client’s quantity and quality of sleep.
6. Medications for clients in accordance to Starbridge Recovery, LLC and DHCS guidelines. 
7. Administering detoxification protocols (completion of CIWA, COWS, vital signs, rounds) on all detoxification clients. 
8. Transportation of clients to appointments, meetings etc. 
9. Crisis Intervention. 
10. Logging of new medications or medication changes according to DHCS and Starbridge Recovery, LLC procedures. 
11. Filing, copies, other office duties as assigned. 
12. Assist, teach and/or supervise clients with general household chores, cleanliness and food preparation/ clean up as required. 
13. Other duties as assigned.
