Role Overview:

InCity Experience is seeking a Tourism and Events Manager to lead its flagship Urban Travel & Culture Showcase Expo. This immersive event connects local businesses and cultural organizations with residents and tourists, showcasing travel, food, adventure, and cultural offerings. The role involves event planning, partnership development, and marketing to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Event Planning & Management:
  • Plan and execute all logistics for the Urban Travel & Culture Showcase Expo.
  • Oversee exhibitor recruitment, booth setup, attendee registration, and venue compliance.
  • Partnership Development:
  • Build relationships with local businesses in travel, tourism, culture, and food sectors.
  • Secure sponsorships and partnerships to enhance event scope and profitability.
  • Marketing & Outreach:
  • Develop promotional campaigns to attract exhibitors and visitors.
  • Leverage social media, influencer collaborations, and email marketing to maximize reach.
  • Visitor Engagement:
  • Design interactive experiences such as VR tours, live performances, and adventure samplers.
  • Coordinate food and beverage sampling zones and special booking incentives.
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Monitor financial performance, attendance metrics, and event outcomes.
  • Provide detailed reports with insights for improvement.

Requirements:


  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Tourism, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience:
  • 3–5 years in event planning, marketing, or partnership development.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale events or expos is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
