Strategists at Impulse Creative play a crucial role in driving our clients to “Grow Smarter” by creating and implementing comprehensive client strategies. This multifaceted position requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of go-to-market functions, with direct experience in digital marketing, sales operations, and HubSpot.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Use client-stated goals to define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and develop detailed tactics to achieve them.
  • Act as an extension of your clients’ own teams by developing and nurturing deep relationships; serve as a unified point of contact for client retainers and projects. 
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to grow client accounts and increase monthly retainers.
  • Strategy Conceptualization:
  • In support of client goals, pitch and develop digial-first strategies to support marketing campaigns and lead generation across multiple channels, including email, web/conversion rate optimization, social media, video, content offers, direct mail, and PPC campaigns.
  • Develop lifecycle messaging strategies and create segmentation-level messaging to enhance targeted communication.
  • Create, coordinate, and manage omnichannel campaigns which may include advertising and conversion path strategy and implementation.
  • Content Strategy and Oversight:
  • Define the content strategy and oversee the creation of assets such as social calendars, blogs, premium content, web pages and more.
  • Technology Evaluation and Implementation:
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of client tech stacks.
  • By understanding your clients’ business, create plans for CRM and marketing automation implementation and enablement using HubSpot.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Act as a player-coach and lead a cross-functional account team of marekting, project management, and product team members to implement the strategy you’ve crafted.  
  • Collaborate with the Creative & Development team on various types of work including website builds, product implementations, content creation, UX design and more based on client needs.
  • Uses strong collaborative skills to work alongside internal teams and clients in setting and achieving big-picture business and marketing growth goals.
  • Performance Reporting:
  • Report on actual campaign performance, providing insights into key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze performance data during quarterly business reviews to ensure tactical execution is meeting client goal projects.
  • Recommend data-backed, strategic shifts as needed to achieve client goals
  • Continuous Testing and Improvement:
  • Continually test and improve the marketing machine, making intuitive and data-driven decisions to address challenges and achieve client goals.
  • Formulate A/B testing hypotheses and execute experiments to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis and SEO Optimization:
  • Conduct keyword research and implement content SEO strategies.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate data and marketing performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of conceptualizing and launching marketing campaigns connected to pipeline and revenue growth.
  • 3-4 years of client management experience required
  • 2-3 years of experience in paid-HubSpot Hubs required, with Marketing, Sales, and CMS Hubs preferred.
  • Project management systems experience, such as Asana, Monday.com, TeamWork or preferably ClickUp, required
  • Proficient in a variety of marketing functions including SEO, CRO, Marketing Automation, Email Marketing, Paid and Social Media
  • Experience overseeing the creation of various content types, including blogs, premium content, graphics, and video.
  • Exceptional project management skills to coordinate content creation, design, development, videography, and marketing activities with internal teams, external vendors, and industry experts within budget constraints.
  • Proficient in data analysis and the ability to optimize campaigns through keyword research and content SEO strategies.
  • Experience in formulating A/B testing hypotheses and utilizing analytics tools to track, analyze, and communicate data and marketing performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report on campaign performance, communicate insights, and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic digital landscape, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • A keen ability to proactively anticipate roadblocks and pivot accordingly
