You'll own the full sales cycle for commercial customers and OEM partners, working alongside distributors like Ingram Micro and TD SYNNEX and manufacturer partners like HPE, Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and Dell. This isn't a "hand you a script and a quota" role — you'll develop your own strategy, build genuine trust with decision-makers, and get real support from our solution architects and pre-sales team along the way.
What you'll do:
- Identify, engage, and build lasting relationships with key decision-makers at commercial customers and OEM partners
- Prospect and qualify new business while mining existing accounts for new opportunities
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies based on market research and industry trends
- Run the full sales cycle — prospecting through close — with sharp, value-driven presentations and proposals
- Track your own performance against gross profit targets and set goals that keep you moving forward
- Partner closely with marketing, pre-sales engineering, and project management to keep every deal aligned to what the customer actually needs
What you bring:
- 3-5+ years in sales or account management in the tech sector — enterprise software or data solutions preferred
- A track record of hitting sales targets and driving gross profit
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Comfort with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, and the ability to work a room from the intern to the C-suite
- A self-starter mentality with a genuine customer-first mindset
Why Imperium Data:
- Base salary starting at $60,000 plus uncapped commission on gross profit
- Hybrid schedule — 3 days in office, 2 remote once training wraps up
- Full medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage

- Paid time off and paid holidays
- A small, collaborative team where your work is visible and your growth isn't capped by bureaucracy
If you're proactive, relationship-driven, and want to be somewhere your contributions are actually noticed, we'd love to hear from you.
