We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavior Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children with autism, providing direct ABA therapy and assisting in case management. This position offers the opportunity to work towards obtaining BCBA certification under the supervision of experienced BCBAs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized ABA therapy programs for children with autism, based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Assist in the development and modification of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior, and provide regular updates to the supervising BCBA.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in case management tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Work towards obtaining BCBA certification by completing required coursework, supervision hours, and passing the BCBA exam.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to obtaining BCBA certification.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Previous experience in an ABA center or similar setting.
