Program Dates: May 27 to August 15 (start and end dates flexible)

Overview: Impact Kidz Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Program Coach to join our team for the summer. This role involves working with elementary students in a summer camp program, providing a fun and engaging environment that promotes learning and exploration. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, creative in planning activities, and committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Teachers and college students home for the summer are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activity Planning and Implementation: Design and lead a variety of educational and recreational activities that are both fun and enriching, fostering a love for learning and exploration among the children.
• Field Trips and Community Service Projects: Supervise weekly field trips and community service projects, ensuring that these experiences are safe, educational, and enjoyable for all participants.
• Safety and Supervision: Maintain a safe environment for all children, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Supervise children at all times, ensuring their well-being and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Engagement and Interaction: Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their participation and engagement in all activities. Provide support and guidance to help them develop new skills and interests.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other staff members about the children's progress, activities, and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a camp, educational, or childcare setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to create and implement engaging and educational activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to the safety and well-being of all children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
