IM=X Pilates & Fitness South Shore is seeking a certified Yoga Instructor to join our growing boutique fitness team at our FishHawk studio.
Our instructors lead small-group and personal training sessions in a supportive, high-energy, and professional environment. While this role is yoga-focused, instructors are expected to align with the IM=X brand standards and work collaboratively within a Pilates-forward studio model that emphasizes spine health, strength, mobility, and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate is charismatic, knowledgeable, dependable, and passionate about movement as a lifelong practice for all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality yoga classes in a small-group setting, with attention to proper form, breath, alignment, and safe modifications
- Create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive experience for all members and prospective clients
- Confidently cue and modify classes for varying fitness levels, ages, and physical needs
- Educate clients on the physical and mental benefits of yoga, including flexibility, mobility, stress reduction, posture, and overall wellness
- Motivate and support members in achieving their health and fitness goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio environment that reflects an upscale boutique fitness experience
- Adhere to studio policies, safety guidelines, and scheduling expectations
- Arrive 5–10 minutes early for all assigned classes
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required studio events
- Support member retention and contribute positively to the studio community
Certification & Documentation Requirements (Required)
- Official Yoga Certification from a recognized organization
- Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Yoga Alliance (RYT-200 or higher)
- Equivalent accredited yoga training program
- Documentation must be provided and kept on file, including:
- Copy of yoga certification
- Proof of completion hours
- IMX Yoga certification is not required, but all certifications must be legitimate, verifiable, and current
- Adult CPR/AED Certification required
- Proof must be provided prior to teaching and maintained annually
- Responsibility of the instructor to keep certification current
Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience teaching yoga in a studio or boutique fitness environment preferred
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, motivating presence
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable
- Passion for fitness, movement education, and client experience
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and/or weekends as needed
